Sunsational Hospitality Training Program

Small businesses in Hollywood's Beach & Downtown CRA Districts can learn how to make an ordinary customer experience extraordinary through participation in Sunsational Hospitality Training Day on Thurs., Nov. 16 at the Hollywood Beach Culture and Community Center.

The four-hour morning program, which is being sponsored by the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency, is offered at no charge to owners, managers and all employees of small businesses in the CRA's Beach and Downtown districts.

Conducted by Hospitality Excellence, Inc., the interactive training program will help small businesses reach an important objective of Hollywood's tourism program, to provide outstanding customer service. Training will emphasize the "10 Standards of Service Excellence" and address issues such as teamwork, communication and cultural sensitivity.

"The Sunsational Hospitality Training program is a wonderful opportunity for small businesses to learn how to gain a competitive edge in providing the best possible visitor experience," said Beach District CRA Executive Director Gil Martinez. "The CRA is happy to be able to offer this free training to our small-business community in preparation for what we hope will be a very strong season."
