WHAT: The spotlight will be on the beautiful, newly renovated Hollywood Beach Broadwalk beginning Saturday, December 2nd when the annual Candy Cane Parade ushers in a season of holiday festivities on the beach, including decorative displays, free concerts, caroling, kids’ crafts and more.

Beach businesses will join in the spirit of the season as they compete in the “Best Decorated Beach Business” contest sponsored by the Hollywood Beach Business Association. The dazzling holiday spectacle is sure to complement the Broadwalk makeover.

Everyone can take part in the holiday celebration on Dec. 8 and 22 when a popular community caroling tradition sponsored by the HBBA is revived at Broadwalk Friday Fest, presented by the Beach District of the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). The musical procession will begin at 7 p.m. at Oceans Eleven, 3111 N. Surf Rd., travel south on the Broadwalk to the Oceanwalk Mall, then back to the Hollywood Beach Theater.

From the north: Take the Sheridan Street exit off Interstate 95 and head east. Turn right at State Road A1A/North Ocean Drive. Turn left at Johnson Street.
