Broadwalk Friday Fest on Hollywood Beach – March

Broadwalk Friday Fest in March will feature two free performances at the outdoor Hollywood Beach Theater at Johnson Street.

Kuyayky, a band that has greatly contributed to the revival of music from central Peru, will present a program that also includes dance and visual art on Fri., March 9.

Broadwalk Friday Fest on March 23 will feature Sounds of Avalon and Carl Drake Academy’s Riverdancers.

Broadwalk Friday Fest is presented from 7 to 10 p.m. every second and fourth Friday by the Beach District of the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency. Experience this oceanside cultural arts performance series at the Hollywood Beach Theater, then savor waterfront dining at its best along the Broadwalk or Intracoastal Waterway.

Paid festival parking is available at the Johnson Street municipal garage and surface lots, the Hollywood Beach Marriott parking garage between Carolina and Taft streets, and the Oceanwalk Mall next to the Ramada Hollywood Beach Resort at Hollywood Boulevard.

Broadwalk Friday Fest on Hollywood Beach – April

Broadwalk Friday Fest in April will feature two free concerts from 7 to 10 p.m. at the outdoor Hollywood Beach Theater at Johnson Street.

Fushu Daiko Asian Revue will take the stage on April 13. This rich cultural spectacle will include traditional Japanese Taiko drummers, a Koto harpist, Shakuhachi flutes, dancers and an origami artist.

Broadwalk Friday Fest on April 27 will feature a performance by Americana folk roots rock band Big Leg Emma. This six-member nationally touring act from Jamestown, NY, creates their music on feel, vibe and deep-hearted lyrics.
