Broadwalk Friday Fest Brings Reggae Beat To The Beach

Enjoy an evening of dancing, romancing and grooving under the stars at Broadwalk Friday Fest with a free concert by Marijah and the Reggae Allstars from 7 to 10 p.m. Fri., Aug. 25 at the outdoor Hollywood Beach Theater at Johnson Street.

Known as the "High Priestess of Percussion," Marijah is a dynamic singer, composer and ethnic percussionist whose soulful and energetic spirit brings audiences to their feet.

Broadwalk Friday Fest on Aug. 11 will feature a soul and R&B revue with Sheba the Mississippi Queen and the Soul Kings from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Hollywood Beach Theater.

Broadwalk Friday Fest is presented by the Hollywood Beach Community Redevelopment Agency every second and fourth Friday. Experience this oceanside cultural arts performance series at the Hollywood Beach Theater, then savor waterfront dining at its best along the oceanfront Broadwalk or Intracoastal Waterway.

Paid festival parking is available at the Johnson Street municipal garage and surface lots at Michigan and Garfield streets, and at the Oceanwalk Mall next to the Ramada Inn Hollywood Beach Resort at Hollywood Boulevard.
